Our History

Pukara Estate was founded by Bruce Eglington, who planted the first trees in 1999 and was joined 12 months later by Steve Goodchild. The first commercial harvest took place in 2003 and the Pukara Estate brand was launched.

Steve and Racquel Goodchild now manage Pukara Estate’s operations across the country.

The freshness, flavour and quality of our products are testament to the creativity, passion and commitment of our entire team. Our extensive range of products offer something gourmet for everyone to identify with, enjoy and indulge!!

Our Philosophy

At Pukara Estate, we’ve always had a simple philosophy for our success. We’re passionate about our olive oils, vinegars and distinctive food products. From harvest, through production, we take the greatest pride and care to guarantee you the freshest, most flavoursome products.

Our Grove

Our 300 acre property with frontage to the Hunter River is located near the township of Denman in the historic viticultural region of the Upper Hunter Valley, New South Wales. Our mixed farming enterprise comprises of, 20 000 olive trees, fat lambs and prime Lucerne Hay production.

Located on site, we have our olive oil and vinegar production, olive oil processing, bottling and warehousing facility. This facility allows us to operate with the ability to produce the freshest products consistently throughout each season.
