Grilled Figs with Prosciutto & Blue Cheese
Also good with a drizzle or our Caramelised Balsamic vinegar over the top after cooking. Use your favourite blue cheese.
6 large ripe figs
6 slices prosciutto
Pukara Estate Premium Extra Virgin Olive oil
Blue cheese to serve
Mixed salad leaves to serve.
Cut figs in half, lengthways. Brush lightly with olive oil and generously sprinkle with brown sugar. Place under hot grill until sugar melted and caramelised. Allow to cool slightly.
Cut prosciutto slices in half. Gently wrap 1 slice of prosciutto around half a fig. Place on plate and serve with a garnish of washed salad leaves and crumbled blue cheese.
