Smoked Hummus

Hummus with a touch of smoke!


400g canned chickpeas drained and rinsed

2 garlic gloves, crushed

2 tablespoons of tahini

Juice of 1 lemon

2 - 3 tablespoons Pukara Estate Natural Smoked EVOO

1/2 teaspoon of Pukara Estate Oak Smoked Salt Flakes


Place chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, Oak Smoked Salt Flakes and 2 tablespoons of the Natural Smoked EVOO into a high speed food processor and process until combined.

Add the extra Natural Smoked EVOO or water and process until smooth.

Place hummus into a serving bowl, drizzle with Natural Smoked EVOO and a pinch of paprika over the top.

Serve with toasted turkish bread and vegatable sticks.
