The Ultimate Steak Sandwich
2 150g minute steaks
2 tbls Pukara Estate Caramelised Onion Jam
1 tbls Pukara Estate Premium EVOO
1 Roma tomato, halved
Handful rocket leaves
1 tbls Pukara Estate Garlic Mayonnaise
4 thick slices of sourdough bread
Add EVOO to a frypan, over high heat. Season halved tomatoes and pan-fry until golden.
Remove from pan and set aside. Increase heat and throw steak in. Cook for 1 minute turn and cook for 30 seconds.
Meanwhile toast bread slices, spread mayo over 2 slices, cover with rocket leaves, half a tomato, top with cooked steak, a tbls of onion jam and the top slice of bread. Serve immediately.
